Ukraine’s armed forces have deployed a new interceptor drone: the LITAVR, developed by F-Drones. The unmanned system reaches a top speed of 350 kilometers per hour and features automatic target acquisition. It can engage both aerial and ground targets, Ukraine’s Defense Ministry announced on Monday.

Development of the LITAVR began in autumn 2024, with testing and certification completed in summer 2025. Serial production started in autumn 2025, and the drone is being delivered to troops. The system is listed in the closed Brave1 catalog (BraveMarket), through which military units can request it.

The Defense Ministry highlighted the high share of Ukrainian components. Manufacturer F-Drones develops its own software, electronics, motors, speed controllers, and flight controls, continuously reducing dependence on Chinese parts. The drone can be remotely operated from hundreds or thousands of kilometers away.

The LITAVR is part of Ukraine’s rapidly growing arsenal of unmanned systems, which plays a central role in defending against Russian drones such as the Shahed.
