President Volodymyr Zelensky reported that Ukrainian military intelligence (HUR) has received documents listing Russian attack targets. These include nearly two dozen political centers and military command posts in Kyiv. The information includes coordinates and satellite images obtained by Ukrainian intelligence from Russian military offices.

In a social media update, Zelensky stated: “Ukrainian defense intelligence specialists have received documents indicating that the Russians are preparing new missile and drone attacks against Ukraine, including attacks on ‘decision-making centers.'” He added that Ukraine has taken this information into account but operates differently than Russia.

The satellite images released by Zelensky show, among other things, the office of the President of Ukraine, the presidential residence, and underground shelters in central Kyiv. These images are dated May 6. Previously, Russian state television aired similar images, suggesting that Moscow could target these sites if the military parade on May 9 were to be disrupted.

Zelensky’s warnings highlight the ongoing threat posed by Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine, which has been ongoing since February 2022. Ukrainian forces are preparing to fend off potential attacks and ensure the security of political and military infrastructure.
