The Israeli army has heightened its state of alert amid increasing reports of a potential resumption of attacks in Iran. According to the newspaper "Jediot Achronot," Israeli government officials are awaiting a decision from US Donald Trump, who may order new military strikes.

Trump spoke with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday. During this conversation, they discussed the situation in Iran, particularly the fact that Tehran is unwilling to accept the terms in negotiations. Two sources familiar with the situation indicated that Israel and the US are coordinating on a possible resumption of attacks.

The "New York Times" has already reported that the Pentagon is preparing for a potential restart of the war. This is in light of previously unmet objectives, especially regarding the Iranian nuclear program. Israel and the US are intensively preparing for possible attacks that could occur as early as this week.

In Israel, it is expected that Trump will convene his closest advisory team within 24 hours of his return from China to make a final decision. New fighting is anticipated to last "days to weeks." However, according to "Jediot Achronot," Trump is not expected to seek a full-scale war to overthrow the Iranian leadership, but rather limited strikes on strategic targets.
