US Donald Trump has warned that the US may have to ‘finish the job’ if Iran does not accept a deal to end the war. According to the Guardian, the two countries remain far apart in negotiations over an initial agreement. Trump’s remarks come amid a phase of mutual strikes between the US and Iran.

Meanwhile, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said a soldier was killed in a Hezbollah drone attack in northern Israel near the border with Lebanon. Two other soldiers were injured in the incident the previous day. Hezbollah in Lebanon is a close ally of Iran.
