The US pop star reached the top of the chart with the song from the soundtrack to “Toy Story 5.” It is Swift’s third number-one hit in Germany, following “The Fate of Ophelia” and “Opalite.” Helene Fischer fell to number 52 with her World Cup song “Heute Nacht.”

The song “I Knew It, I Knew You” caused a stir shortly after its release on June 5. According to Apple Music, it is the most successful country single of 2026 and set a new all-time record for the best soundtrack single on its first day. Spotify and Amazon Music also reported record figures: the track was the most-streamed country song by a female artist in a single day and the most successful streaming debut worldwide within the first 24 hours in 2026.

Swift is followed by Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj with “Beauty And A Beat” at number two, and German rappers Summer Cem and Billa Joe with “Killy Manjaro” at number three. Zara Larsson slipped to number four with “Lush Life,” and Israeli band Temper City complete the top five with “Self Aware.” Shakira and Burna Boy moved up from 22 to 11 with “Dai Dai.”

There was also a change at the top of the album charts: Niall Horan entered at number one with “Dinner Party,” pushing Toten Hosen (“Trink aus, wir müssen gehen!”) to number three. It is the former One Direction singer’s first number-one as a solo artist in Germany. Camora landed at number two with a limited special edition of his album “Forever.” New entries in the top ten include Madsen (“Smile,” number four), Evanescence (“Sanctuary,” number five), Florian Künstler (“Alles nur geliehen,” number six), and Pink Floyd (“8-Tracks,” number seven).
