US Donald Trump has announced he will review the question of a license for the production of rockets for Ukraine. According to Ukrinform, Trump announced the review without providing further details. The announcement comes against the backdrop of Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine, which has been ongoing since February 2022.
The potential license would allow Ukraine to produce US rocket weapons domestically. So far, the United States has delivered finished weapon systems, including rocket launchers and guided missiles. Local production could reduce dependence on deliveries and strengthen Ukraine’s defense industry.
