A repair at a signal box near Südkreuz station is causing delays on several S-Bahn lines this morning. In the evening, a central section of the line will be closed.

A repair at a signal box near Südkreuz S-Bahn station disrupted traffic on several Berlin S-Bahn lines this morning. According to Berliner S-Bahn, the Ringbahn is interrupted between Treptower Park and Westend. Lines S41 and S42 are running every ten minutes in both directions between Westend and Treptower Park.

Lines S46 and S47 are also affected. The S46 runs every 20 minutes between Königs Wusterhausen and Schöneweide, and the S47 between Spindlersfeld and Schöneweide. The section between Baumschulenweg and Westend is also restricted.

From Friday evening at 10:00 p.m. until Monday morning at 1:30 a.m., the city-center line between Friedrichstraße and Zoologischer Garten will be closed. This affects lines S3, S5, S7, and S9. The S-Bahn will run replacement bus services on this route.

Additionally, there are closures in regional traffic: Lines RE1, RE2, and RE7 are not running between Ostbahnhof and Charlottenburg. The S-Bahn recommends passengers use the Ringbahn, the S15, or the U-Bahn lines U2 and U5 instead.
