Starting April 1, 2026, companies and individuals in Germany can submit their applications for the German Occupational Safety Award 2027. This competition, which will be awarded in four categories, aims to promote innovative approaches to improving workplace safety and health. Each winner will receive a prize of €10,000 for exemplary strategic, operational, cultural, and personal solutions.
The submission deadline is June 30, 2026. The award is open to organizations of all sizes and sectors based in Germany, as well as individuals committed to occupational safety. The award ceremony, under the patronage of Federal Minister of Labor Bärbel Bas, is scheduled for April 2027.
This award not only recognizes outstanding achievements in occupational safety but also serves as an incentive for further development and improvement within companies. The German Occupational Safety Award aims to raise awareness of the importance of safety and health measures at work and highlight best practices in the industry.
