According to the civil defence service, 15 people were injured in a Russian rocket attack on Kharkiv, including three children. Previously, ten injured people had been reported.

The number of injured people after the Russian rocket attack on Kharkiv has risen to 15, including three children. The civil defence service of the Kharkiv region reported this on Saturday morning, as the news outlets Ukrainska Pravda and life.kyiv.ua report.

According to the civil defence service, one of the rockets struck a warehouse building in the Nemyshlianskyi district on 16 October. A fire broke out there over an area of around 100 square metres. According to the report, the blast wave and debris also damaged adjacent multi-storey residential buildings and other objects. In total, four seats of fire had arisen, and civil defence emergency crews had been able to extinguish all of them.

The authorities assume that the number of injured people may still change. According to life.kyiv.ua, rescue workers and medical services remained on site after the attack, examined damaged buildings and documented the consequences.

According to life.kyiv.ua, residents should keep away from damaged buildings if their condition is in doubt, not touch unknown debris, and report damage to the emergency services and local authorities so that windows can be closed provisionally and supply lines checked.
