A humpback whale has been stranded and motionless in a shallow bay near the island of Poel since Tuesday, raising fears that it may not survive much longer. Tom Bär from the German Maritime Museum noted that the whale's exact health status remains unclear, as an internal examination is not feasible. It may be suffering from an infection or organ damage.
