The Russian Air Force conducted a missile attack on Starokostjantyniv in the Khmelnytskyi region on Wednesday evening. According to the BBC, an air alert was triggered across Ukraine when a MiG-31K equipped with the hypersonic missile “Kinzhal” took off. The Ukrainian Air Force reported a “fast target” threat in the Chernihiv region.
In the city of Kharkiv, at least four explosions were reported in various districts. The missile passed near Kyiv and Zhytomyr before striking Starokostjantyniv. Reports indicated that the shockwave from the “Kinzhal” was heard in the suburbs of the capital.
In addition to the missile strikes, Russian forces launched a combined wave of attacks that began on the morning of May 13. By 5:45 PM, over 800 drones had already been deployed across nearly all regions of Ukraine, significantly increasing the threat to the civilian population.
