Three people died in Kryvyi Rih after Russian forces struck the city with ballistic missiles, hitting infrastructure, the local military administration said. In Odesa, a drone attack killed a 26-year-old woman who was on the beach. A 39-year-old man was wounded.

Oleksandr Wilkul, head of the Kryvyi Rih military administration, said on Telegram that initially ten wounded were reported, but within 20 minutes the number rose to 19, five of them in critical condition. “All have been taken to hospitals and are undergoing surgery. The doctors are doing everything possible and fighting for their lives,” he wrote. Among the seriously wounded are two men aged 30 and 39, and a 62-year-old woman in extremely critical condition, added Oleksandr Hantscha, head of the Oblast military administration.

President Volodymyr Zelensky reported more than 20 wounded and criticized insufficient support: “Every such day and every Russian strike proves that the pressure on the aggressor in this war is not enough. Any delay in implementing agreements on air defense, any hesitation in delivering protection for Ukraine and Ukrainians effectively means the loss of lives.”

The air force had warned of a ballistic missile around 11:00 a.m. Local authorities reported the strike at 11:20 a.m. The attack damaged an unused building, an excavator, and a car, and sparked several fires that were extinguished after about an hour.
