A signal box failure is causing massive disruptions on the Berlin–Hamburg line. According to the Tagesspiegel, ICE trains are currently running only every two hours. Deutsche Bahn advises passengers to take a detour via Hanover.

All trains between the two major cities are affected. The cause of the failure is not yet known. The railway says it is working to fix the problem.
