Russian-installed authorities on the annexed Ukrainian peninsula of Crimea have declared a state of emergency. They are responding to a massive Ukrainian drone attack.

In parallel, the European Union wants to make it harder for Ukrainians of fighting age to flee the war. Meanwhile, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) announced that a key power line at the Russian-occupied Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant has been repaired.
