Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) said its Alpha special forces unit destroyed an electronic intelligence post of Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) using long-range drones, the Kyiv Post reported. The facility is located in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai, about 200 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.
According to the SBU, the intercepted radio traffic from the center may have helped guide Russian missile and drone attacks on Ukraine. The operation is part of Ukraine’s strategy to strike military infrastructure deep inside Russian territory.
