According to the Kyiv Post, Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces (USF) together with the SBU security service carried out a coordinated attack on a Russian drone training and production facility in occupied Donetsk. The facility was operated by the so-called “Russian Academy of Rocket and Artillery Sciences” and was used to train drone pilots and assemble warheads.

The USF said the strike destroyed production and repair workshops, including four “Tiger” armored vehicles that were undergoing repairs. Ammunition stocks and drone components were also destroyed. The head of the facility, a lieutenant colonel with the call sign “Burij,” was killed. Ukraine estimates total personnel losses at least 65 soldiers.

Robert “Madyar” Brovdi said the mission was codenamed “Snow of Akhmat” and targeted the settlement of Snizhne in occupied Donetsk, where the facility was located. The target was a training and production complex linked to the 78th Motorized Special Regiment “Nord-Akhmat” of Russia’s 42nd Division. The attack involved 11 planned “medium strike” attacks with 100-kilogram warheads.
