The attacks occurred on the night of May 15, when Russian troops fired six missiles and 141 drones, including various types, at Ukraine. Ukrainian air defense managed to intercept 130 enemy drones and one Kh-31P missile, although hits were recorded at six locations.
The attackers used five Kh-31P missiles from the airspace over the Black Sea and one Kh-35 missile from occupied Crimea. Ukraine's air defense forces, including aviation, missile defense, and electronic warfare, were involved in the defensive measures.
Additionally, Radio Svoboda reported that Ukrainian air defense intercepted 114 out of 129 drones, highlighting the effectiveness of the defense forces. The attacks were launched from various directions, including Bryansk and Kursk.
