Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has asked for further support for the coming winter as Russia continues its war of aggression against Ukraine unabated. He called for help to get the population through the cold season.
The request is based on the experience of past winters: Russia had repeatedly targeted Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, causing widespread blackouts.
