According to Deutschlandfunk, acting Mette Frederiksen has been tasked again with forming a government. The parliamentary election in Denmark took place almost two months ago, and a new government has not yet been formed.
Frederiksen, who has been head of government since 2019, submitted her resignation after the election but remained in office in a caretaker capacity. Now she is to make another attempt to forge a coalition. Which parties she intends to bring into the government remains open.
