Signal box repaired: Hamburg–Berlin train service resumes

The disruption on the railway line between Hamburg and Berlin has been resolved. According to Zeit, a defective signal box was repaired earlier than planned.

A defective signal box severely disrupted train services on the Hamburg–Berlin line on Tuesday morning. However, repairs were completed earlier than planned, allowing trains to run again.

Deutsche Bahn had previously informed passengers about delays and partial cancellations. The exact cause of the defect is not yet known.
