The Brenner Pass was closed on May 30. The Red Cross, ADAC, and police had anticipated massive traffic disruptions extending into Bavaria. Yet almost no traffic jams occurred, as the Süddeutsche Zeitung reports.
A police spokesperson expressed surprise: “I did not expect it to be so quiet today.” The protest against traffic volumes at the Brenner largely proceeded without incident.
EuroPulse reported on May 27 about a Munich police drug check on Hannah Laing (https://europulse.today/djane-kritisiert-polizei-drogenkontrolle-muenchen/).
