US House votes to withdraw from Iran combat operations

The US House of Representatives has voted to withdraw US troops from combat operations against Iran — with some Republican votes. The vote increases pressure on Donald Trump but has no direct legal consequences, according to Tagesschau.

The resolution also found support among some Republicans, who thus challenge President Trump’s line. The vote is a clear signal against further military escalation in the Middle East.

However, the vote has no immediate legal consequences: the president remains commander-in-chief responsible for the deployment of armed forces. Nevertheless, political pressure on Trump to reconsider his Iran strategy is growing.

EuroPulse reported on June 4, 2026, about the ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon, which Trump wanted to use as a basis for an Iran deal (https://europulse.today/israel-libanon-waffenruhe-trump-iran-deal/).
