According to Bavarian Broadcasting, the incident occurred at a refugee shelter in Herrsching am Ammersee, Upper Bavaria. A 40-year-old Afghan man died from stab wounds after a dispute.
Police arrested a 36-year-old compatriot. He is suspected of homicide and is in pretrial detention. The background to the dispute remains unclear.
