The new Münchner Kindl is Sina Hochreiter. The 27-year-old, a daughter of an innkeeper, was introduced to the public on Monday, as reported by the Süddeutsche Zeitung. She is already the 17th ambassador of the city of Munich since 1938.
According to the newspaper, Hochreiter meets all the criteria for the role. Her baptism of fire awaits in autumn: at the Oktoberfest, she must prove she is up to the task. She already managed the traditional ride on horseback with ease – with the help of brewery horse Schorsch and horseman Marinus Zengerle.
