The Anna Seghers Prize this year goes to Chilean writer Daniela Cartileo and German author Sonja M. Schultz. The award, worth 12,500 euros each, will be presented this evening in Berlin, as reported by Deutschlandfunk.
The prize, named after Anna Seghers, has been awarded annually since 1994 by the foundation of the same name. It honors literary works distinguished by social criticism and artistic quality.
