Albin Kurti’s ruling Self-Determination party has won the snap parliamentary election in Kosovo, according to Deutschlandfunk. The election commission reported that the party secured 43 percent of the vote after almost all ballots were counted.
This was the third election in Kosovo within 16 months. The snap vote became necessary after the governing coalition lost its majority in parliament.
