Munich Utilities Launch Largest Housing Project

Munich's municipal utilities (SWM) have launched their largest housing project to date, aiming to create over 200 company apartments for employees in the Laim district by the end of 2028. Süddeutsche Zeitung reports that the company has not yet disclosed how it will ensure the apartments remain affordable.

By the end of 2028, more than 200 company apartments for employees are to be built in the Laim district.

Separately, authorities are investigating a suspected data leak at LHM-Services. According to the Süddeutsche Zeitung, a large amount of data from Munich school students and teachers may have been leaked. Experts are assessing the case.

Additionally, a kiosk operator is set to appear before the Munich district court. He is accused of selling cocaine and marijuana under the code name “Special Pizza.” Undercover investigators ordered the drugs as a ruse and uncovered the trade.
