The club recommends using alternative routes if possible or scheduling travel during the early morning or late evening hours.
This year, Ascension Day falls on a Thursday, prompting many employees to take the bridging day on Friday for an extended weekend. The holiday is also observed in Austria, Switzerland, France, the Netherlands, and other neighboring countries, which is expected to increase traffic at the borders.
