Bundeswehr University Munich and the Bundeswehr Service Center opened their doors to the public. Visitors were able to view military equipment and learn about career opportunities, among other things.
Defense Minister Boris Pistorius (SPD) was on site and invoked the cohesion between the troops and society. He emphasized that a country’s defense capability is never solely the task of the armed forces.
