Across the entire Zaporizhzhia region, Russian forces carried out 725 attacks on 53 settlements within a day, said Ivan Fedorov, co-chair of the defence council of the Zaporizhzhia region, as reported by the news outlet Ukrainska Pravda on Sunday, 8 November. Fedorov is quoted there as saying: “One person was injured as a result of the enemy attacks on the regional centre.”
According to Ukrainska Pravda, the region saw 26 air strikes, 561 drone attacks, 135 artillery attacks and three shellings from multiple rocket launchers.
The DSNS civil protection service in Zaporizhzhia reported three fires in the city and the region on 7 November. In the regional centre, the remains of a drone caught fire, and in the surrounding area emergency crews extinguished burning roofs of a residential building and a car at several addresses. In total, 61 reports of damaged apartments, vehicles and infrastructure were received from the region, Ukrainska Pravda reports, citing the civil protection service.
