Anyone searching for train connections on bahn.de using Linux may run into an error message. Error 751 apparently occurs when the browser reports a Linux system as its user agent. Deutsche Bahn told Golem that protection systems against automated access are the cause.
The problem does not affect all Linux users, but only occurs in certain configurations. The railway company ruled out a general block of the operating system. Affected users can try changing their browser’s user agent or switch to alternative services such as the DB Navigator app.
