The couple was detained immediately after landing in the city of Rosario. The pilot alerted the police after noticing suspicious movements during the nearly seven-hour flight. According to reports from the newspaper "La Nación," a grandmother sitting nearby with her underage granddaughter observed the obscene acts.
Airport police took the couple into custody after flight attendants assessed the situation. Both were initially arrested but were released after the initial formalities. The Attorney General's Office in Rosario is currently conducting further investigations.
Similar incidents in Argentina are often punished with fines or donations to charitable organizations. The family of the married man was already waiting for him at the airport when he was released after the arrest.
