Foreigner played at the Tollwood Festival in Munich. The atmosphere at the concert was excellent – even though none of the founding members were on stage. The band, centered around guitarist Mick Jones and singer Lou Gramm, had focused on catchy rock ‘n’ roll in the 1970s, without long solos or psychedelic lyrics.
Their songs dealt with first love or first heartbreak, were short, and had memorable melodies. These tunes became timeless and went down a storm with the Munich audience.
