A disruption of the GSM-R radio system has largely paralyzed German rail traffic. Meanwhile, the digital euro is set to have upper limits, and Norway bans AI in schools.

Trains were canceled or severely delayed as communication between signal boxes and locomotives was interrupted. The cause of the outage was initially unclear.

The digital euro is to be equipped with upper limits, according to the European Central Bank. The exact amount of the cap has not yet been determined but is intended to prevent misuse.

Norway has banned the use of artificial intelligence in schools. The ban applies to all public educational institutions.
