Iran has announced the introduction of fees for passage through the Strait of Hormuz. According to Handelsblatt, the corresponding letter of intent will not be signed on Sunday. The strait is considered one of the most important trade routes for global oil transport.
Separately, a tanker was hit by a projectile off the coast of Oman. The circumstances of the attack remain unclear. Iran also plans the burial of leader Ali Khamenei on July 9.
