Comedian John Oliver (49) will be seen on two US television series: the daily soaps “Days of our Lives” and “General Hospital.” The episodes have already been filmed, Oliver said on his show “Last Week Tonight.” They are scheduled to air in July and August.
Oliver had publicly sought guest roles on soap operas during his show. “I want to be part of this world,” he said at the time, offering himself to the productions: “Write me a role and I’ll be at your set so fast it’ll make your head spin.”
