Berlin’s governing mayor Kai Wegner (CDU) took part in a joint inspection operation by customs, police and the job center in Neukölln on the night before Saturday. According to the Tagesspiegel, the officers wore bulletproof vests – as did the mayor. The inspectors already found something at the first location.
