The 29-year-old singer-songwriter Noah Kahan turned to social media to address his audience: ‘If you need to go number two during a show, please, for God’s sake, just go to the toilet.’ He added that he has ‘shit my pants just as much as any other 29-year-old,’ trying to lighten the mood with humor.
Earlier, concertgoers had shared footage that appeared to show traces of a bowel movement in the audience area. Kahan also pointed out the cleaning crews who have to tidy up the venues after the show.
The phenomenon is not new: Singer Olivia Rodrigo recently said in an interview that people wear diapers during concerts to secure front-row spots. ‘That’s an experience I’ve had as an artist – I’ve smelled it and witnessed it,’ Rodrigo said on the British radio show Breakfast.
