The organizer quickly implemented a comprehensive heat mitigation plan, developed in coordination with local authorities and emergency services. Measures included spraying water on the crowd and setting up free drinking water stations. Each visitor had access to three liters of water, and attendees were allowed to bring their own containers – though glass bottles remained banned.

To reduce exposure during the hottest part of the day, the doors were moved from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., and the planned opening act was canceled. The concert itself lasted about two hours. According to NDR, the organizer’s concept also meets noise protection requirements.
