The Musikfestspiele Potsdam Sanssouci have launched their 35th edition. The opening consisted of two concert evenings, as Tagesspiegel reports. The program included Baroque music, migration history, and Handel’s Fireworks Music.
The opening concert on Friday evening at the Friedenskirche revolved around the Sun King Louis XIV. This year’s edition is themed ‘Light’.
