A truck damaged a railway bridge near Ingolstadt on Tuesday. As Bavarian Broadcasting (BR) reports, the line between Munich and Ingolstadt was subsequently closed. The closure has now been lifted, but train services are not yet running smoothly.
The ICE route between Munich and Nuremberg is affected by the consequences of the accident. Passengers must continue to expect delays and individual train cancellations. The exact extent of the damage to the bridge is not yet known.
