The Weeknd in Munich: Three Concerts at the Arena

Canadian pop star The Weeknd will perform three concerts at Munich's Arena in June 2026. They are the final shows of his tour before he plans to radically reinvent himself, according to his own statements.

Nearly three years after his last concert in Munich, The Weeknd returns – and for three nights straight. On June 25, 26, and 27, 2026, the Canadian singer, whose real name is Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, will perform at the Arena. Unlike in 2023, when he played at the Olympic Stadium, this time he chose the arena in northern Munich. The tour, which sold three million tickets worldwide, is set to be his last in this form: The Weeknd announced he would step back afterward and radically change his artistic concept.

Sold Out – Only Remaining Tickets on Resale

Tickets have long been sold out. On the secondary markets of Eventim Fansale and Ticketmaster, a few tickets are still available in early June – starting at 102.93 euros. Those looking for a VIP package pay at least 339.50 euros. Demand is enormous, as for many fans this is the last chance to experience The Weeknd in his current stage show.

Support Act and Fan Initiative

US rapper Playboi Carti will perform as the support act on all three evenings. His sets begin at 6:45 PM and last about 45 minutes. A special fan project is creating atmosphere: The organizer Fede is distributing thousands of white balloons before the concert. To match the song “House of Balloons,” fans are asked to inflate the balloons in the stadium and hold them up during the song. She is funding the initiative entirely out of her own pocket and calls on fans to bring their own white balloons.

Travel with Obstacles

The Arena is well connected to public transport. With the concert ticket, visitors travel free of charge on the U-Bahn, bus, tram, and S-Bahn within the MVV network. From the main station or East station, take the S-Bahn to Marienplatz, then the U6 toward Garching-Forschungszentrum to Fröttmaning – the journey from Marienplatz takes about 16 minutes. Drivers need patience: Since June 22, the Föhringer Ring, a key east-west connection between the A9 and M13, has been fully closed. The Munich-Föhringer Ring exit on the A9 toward Munich is also closed. Those coming from the north should allow extra time.

After the Munich concerts, The Weeknd will give three more shows in Germany: on July 30 and 31 and August 1 at the Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt. For many fans in Munich, however, it remains the star’s last major effort – before he reinvents himself.
