The Süddeutsche Zeitung reports the start of two theater festivals in Bavaria. In Wasserburg am Inn, award-winning productions from Bavarian private theaters will be on display for ten days. The program features a selection of the best shows from the state.
At the same time, the open-air season begins at the Passionstheater in Oberammergau. The play on the schedule is ‘TYLL’ – a stage adaptation of Daniel Kehlmann’s novel. The story about the trickster Till Eulenspiegel will be performed under the open sky.
