Theater Festivals in Bavaria: Wasserburg and Oberammergau Kick Off

Two theater festivals are starting in Bavaria, as reported by the Süddeutsche Zeitung. In Wasserburg, productions from Bavarian private theaters will be showcased over ten days, while in Oberammergau, the open-air season begins with 'TYLL,' based on Daniel Kehlmann's novel.

The Süddeutsche Zeitung reports the start of two theater festivals in Bavaria. In Wasserburg am Inn, award-winning productions from Bavarian private theaters will be on display for ten days. The program features a selection of the best shows from the state.

At the same time, the open-air season begins at the Passionstheater in Oberammergau. The play on the schedule is ‘TYLL’ – a stage adaptation of Daniel Kehlmann’s novel. The story about the trickster Till Eulenspiegel will be performed under the open sky.
