Five youth ensembles and orchestras were scheduled to perform on stage together with pianist Igor Levit this evening, including the Fanny Mendelssohn Youth Orchestra, the Moses Mendelssohn Chamber Orchestra from the Mendelssohn Orchestra Family, and the best singers from the choir section of The Young ClassX. In addition to the musical pieces they had prepared, the young participants were to present their own written contributions on the themes of power, conflict, and reconciliation.
The concert in the Great Hall is to be rescheduled for September. Ticket holders will be informed by the concert organizer.
