From June 15 to 19, State Minister Wolfram Weimer will visit selected cultural buildings in Germany. The trip aims to underscore the important role these buildings play for the country’s cultural identity and to spotlight the diversity of the cultural landscape that extends beyond major cities.

Weimer expressed enthusiasm ahead of the trip, calling it a “unique cultural road trip.” He encouraged citizens to go on their own journeys of discovery and explore the cultural treasures in their surroundings.

The State Minister emphasized that cultural buildings are not only important in metropolises but also in smaller communities. Museums, monasteries, and castles contribute significantly to cultural life and social cohesion and deserve more visibility and recognition.
