Berlin native Zahide Kayaci, who performs as Zah1de, rose to fame on TikTok at age 13 — first as part of the dance group Lunatix, then with her own rap songs. She has around 8.5 million followers on the platform, and her songs have millions of views. Her debut album “Pretty Privilege” was released last December, and a month earlier she won the Bambi award in the “Shooting Star” category.
Her music blends mainstream rap with the realities of teenage life: she raps about brands like Chanel and Prada, but also about Labubu, lip gloss, and chewing gum. Her look — long brown hair, thick false lashes, dark lip liner — is easy for fans to copy. Unlike many child stars, Zah1de didn’t become famous through casting shows but through short videos.
The concert on Sunday, June 28, at 6 p.m. in the Music Arena at Tollwood is her first performance at a Munich festival.
