Russian forces attacked the city of Druzhkivka in Oblast on May 24, 2026, at 6:26 p.m. with a guided aerial bomb. The FAB-250 with a UMPK guidance kit struck an apartment building, the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported.
The attack killed a 70-year-old female pensioner. Five civilians — one man and four women aged 40, 44, 45, 69, and 73 — suffered mine-blast injuries. The full consequences of the airstrike are still being determined.
