A 70-year-old woman was killed and five other civilians were injured in a Russian airstrike on an apartment building in Druzhkivka, Oblast, on Sunday evening, according to the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office.

A 70-year-old woman was killed and five other civilians were injured in a Russian airstrike on an apartment building in Druzhkivka, Oblast, on Sunday evening, according to the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office.

Russian forces attacked the city of Druzhkivka in Oblast on May 24, 2026, at 6:26 p.m. with a guided aerial bomb. The FAB-250 with a UMPK guidance kit struck an apartment building, the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported.

The attack killed a 70-year-old female pensioner. Five civilians — one man and four women aged 40, 44, 45, 69, and 73 — suffered mine-blast injuries. The full consequences of the airstrike are still being determined.
