According to 24tv, Russian propagandists have announced the alleged capture of the village of Ryasne in Sumy Oblast. The Ukrainian Armed Forces (ZSU) commented on the claim and clarified that Russian occupiers are attacking Ukrainian positions, but without success.
The report from Moscow is classified as disinformation by the Ukrainian side. The situation in the border area with Russia’s Kursk region remains tense, but Ukrainian defense holds the lines.
