MT Melsungen has won the first title in its club history. Goalkeeper Nebojsa Simic was the decisive factor on the path to success, as reported by Sportschau.
To underscore the significance of the triumph, Simic drew a comparison with basketball legend Dirk Nowitzki. The 43-year-old Nowitzki won the NBA championship with the Dallas Mavericks in 2011 – a moment that Simic said was similarly emotional.
