Russian drone attack on gas station in Kherson region kills two

A Russian Shahed drone struck an OKKO gas station near Posad-Pokrovske in Kherson Oblast on June 5, killing two civilians and injuring nine others, Ukrainska Pravda reports.

According to Ukrainska Pravda, a Russian Shahed drone attacked an OKKO gas station on the highway near Posad-Pokrovske in Kherson Oblast at around 1:00 p.m. on June 5. A 35-year-old female employee and a customer were killed in the strike.

Nine civilians were injured, including four women and five men. A 61-year-old man suffered a traumatic amputation of his left leg. Emergency services treated the wounded on site and transported them to nearby hospitals.

The attack on civilian infrastructure is part of ongoing Russian assaults on the Kherson region, which has been under constant fire since the start of the war.
